App Empire builds the applications and web platforms people hold. Aegir, our software and telecoms division, runs the network beneath them. Together they share three properties: flow, connection, and scale.
Why Aegir
Named for the sea.
Aegir is the figure of the ocean in the old northern stories. We gave the name to our software and telecoms division because networks behave like water: they carry everything, and they only get noticed when they fail.
Aegir builds and keeps Aegir Softphone and Aegir TMS. App Empire’s Apps and Web teams build on top of them.
